From May through November, Shafer Park comes alive with events that capture the spirit of small-town life — including the weekly Boonsboro Farmers Market, a lively Summer Concert Series, and Outdoor Movie Nights under the stars. The park is also home to some of Boonsboro’s most beloved annual traditions, such as the Boonsboro Carnival, Boonsborough Days, and the Boonsboro Food Truck Festival.

In addition to its full calendar of events, Shafer Park features walking trails, picnic areas, playgrounds, and the future home of the Boonsboro Disc Golf Course.
